Created to preserve and share the history of the civilian-operated flight training programs that trained U.S. military pilots during World War II. The site serves as a historical archive and educational resource, providing detailed information about:
-
The structure and goals of WWII flight training programs
-
The critical role civilian schools and instructors played
-
The impact these programs had on the war effort and postwar aviation
-
